The delegation just finished their first involvement session. There are five involvement sessions that each home group will attend throughout the week. Involvement sessions are held in smaller groups, giving everyone another chance to interact with delegates outside of their home group. Each group is paired up with another group for each session and they attend one, sometimes two, a day. We will spotlight one involvement session per day on this blog so you can get a better idea of what they’re all about.

SPOTLIGHT INVOLVEMENT SESSION OF THE DAY: Feelings Through Music
Leader: Langston Booker; Assistants: Matty Bertrand, Juliana Laurent, Chris Barnett

Feelings Through Music is the most relaxing session of the week. It serves as a great break for delegates to relax and channel their emotions while listening to handpicked inspiring songs and expressing themselves through art. In the middle of the high intensity and energy of the week, it is definitely a great time to step back and reflect on LYS. The delegates are also encouraged to apply this to their life when they get back home.

Like we said, there are five Involvement Sessions in all, so check back each day for a new session to be highlighted.

The race begins NOW!
